The naming and launch of “Human Rights
Defenders”, a regular giving program for Amnesty
International, changed the organisation’s financial
fortunes in Australia and it is now their single biggest
source of funds.
Issue-based fundraising campaigns covered emotive subjects such as ‘The Dangers of Small Arms’, ‘Women’s Rights’ and ‘Children’s Rights’.
The campaigns included 30-sec television, inserts, magazine ads and mailings.
